The Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) announced Tuesday (April 16) that it has hired Olumide Yerokun as Director of Marketing. Mr. Yerokun brings over 10 years of experience to this role and will manage various promotional strategies and activities to enhance the efforts of the Little His Rock Tourism Bureau.
“Olumido is off to a great start,” said Gina Gemberling, president and CEO of LRCVB. “Mr. Olumido's social media and marketing experience will be of great help in planning LRCVB's promotional activities. We look forward to seeing him put his plans into action.”
Yerokun joins LRCVB after most recently working as a client account manager at Bayard Advertising. Prior to this role, Yerokun led social media strategy for Hendrix College, GWL Advertising, and Albright Ideas. He also served as social media director for ACANA (African Cultural Alliance of North America) and led content and marketing strategy for One Tribe Magazine.

Yerokun earned a bachelor's degree in business marketing from Morehouse College. Ilokun, who grew up in Little Rock, lived in Georgia and Pennsylvania before moving back to Little Rock in 2016.
The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau is the official destination marketing organization for the City of Little Rock and is responsible for the marketing and sales of the City as a convention, sports and leisure travel destination. LRCVB also manages the Statehouse Convention Center, Robinson Center, River Market, and multiple parking lots.
