From furry monarchs to pin-up models, your pet could grace the pages of the 2025 BC SPCA Calendar.
The Calendar Contest fundraiser sponsored by Hill's Pet Nutrition is back and is seeking people who want to “shine beloved pets in the spotlight they deserve while helping animals in need,” according to the company's website. I am.
If your furry friend is a cat meow, it could be one of the 12 animals (6 dogs, 6 cats) featured on every page of the calendar or on the cover . The cutest contestants who receive 50 or more votes will also receive an honorable mention in the coveted Hill Prize.
“What better way to celebrate beloved pets while giving vulnerable animals the chance to find safe and loving homes,” Hill's Engagement Specialist Frances Cheslo said in a media release. said. “Each year, we are amazed and delighted by this caring community.”
To participate, register online with your pet's photo and story and encourage family and friends to vote with a donation. One vote is worth $1 and is sold in packages of 25, 50, and 100 pieces, or in customized quantities of 10 to 2,500 pieces. Calendars featuring these new celebrities will be available for purchase to help raise even more money.
The competition helps provide vital funding for animal welfare, including rescue, protection and adoption, as well as a range of support, advocacy and education services. Last year, the BC SPCA assisted her more than 135,000 livestock, farm and wildlife animals in need.
