TUSCALOOSA – It's not every day you get to take your pup to a parade, but at senior living facility The Crossing at North River, residents had the chance Tuesday to dress up their pets and strut their stuff.
“There's always something fun going on here,” said Jake Goodin, facilities sales director.
The facility, which opened last year, offers services such as independent living, assisted living and memory care.
At the end of the day's contest, the final winners were:
- Gold: Lovi
- Silver: Josie
- Bronze: Bullet
All the residents seemed to be having a good time, enjoying not only each other's company but also the company of their irate friends.
