Haas became the latest F1 team to take their cars to the track while Lewis Hamilton was cautioned against a move to Ferrari.
With just one day left for cars to go on sale and teams like Red Bull, Mercedes and Ferrari still to come, the 2024 season is starting to become a reality.
While Hamilton was given hints on how to survive at Maranello, more machines appeared on the track in the form of Haas.
Haas shakedown at Silverstone
Haas visited Silverstone on Sunday to test the new VF-24 and posted a short clip on social media showing it exiting the pit lane for the first time.
This follows a stakes F1 run of the new car in Barcelona on Saturday as preparations continue for pre-season testing in Bahrain next week.
Haas were the first team to unveil an official car in early February, and are running an official car for the first time in earnest ahead of the new season.

Lewis Hamilton's warning to Ferrari
Elsewhere, Lewis Hamilton has been told he must be “subordinate” to make a successful move to Ferrari for the 2025 F1 season.
The words of advice came from Hans-Joachim Stuck, who believes living in Maranello will be a “completely new experience” for the seven-time world champion.
“Hamilton is a special person,” Stack said.
“But what I want to know is whether he can cope with Ferrari's system, where everything works a little differently.
“Of course, Hamilton would have been rewarded for this step with a salary, and he would have deserved it. But he has to subordinate himself now. He's certainly not used to it.”

Nico Hulkenberg talks about Haas' future
We've all been in situations where a joke goes too far, and that's what happened to Nico Hulkenberg. Between Haas; in last week's announcement he joked that he had signed a new contract for 2025, which one journalist mistakenly took as truth.
The reports were later dismissed by Hulkenberg and Haas, but the German said a deal could happen “in the coming months”.
“It will happen over time,” he said.
“A lot has already happened, and of course more will happen in the coming months.”

Las Vegas changes Esteban Ocon's preparation plans
With 24 races remaining in 2024, it will be difficult for drivers to keep their bodies in perfect condition.
However, there is one race that Esteban Ocon has highlighted and said he intends to make changes once F1 returns to Nevada.
“Yeah, I'm going to do something completely different, that's clear,” he said.
“But yeah, we were pretty unlucky at the Las Vegas event.
“Obviously we were seeing a lot of people that weekend, but we didn't see any sunlight for four or five days.
“It was very difficult and everyone got sick. About 80 per cent of the paddock was sick at the time. But yeah, we're going to do it completely differently this year.”

Can Lewis Hamilton be compared to Lionel Messi?
It may have been over a week ago, but some people are still confused about Hamilton's move to Ferrari.
One of them is Alex Aron, who believes that football star Lionel Messi looks similar when he moved to Miami.
“For me, seeing Ferrari's share price rise so much and the general perception of this news shows how great Lewis is,” he continued.
“It was a pinch-me-me moment for me. I think there were so many rumors flying around over the winter, we didn't know what was credible or not. And Ferrari's… The rumor definitely seemed like a rumor at the beginning of the story, but then it turned out to be real.
“No, it's amazing. It reminds me of Messi's big move to Miami and shows his desire for Formula 1.”
