With a $30,000 grant from the American Society of Interior Designers Foundation, Kogan's research and innovation incubator, Hugo, is partnering with the company's education division to develop We plan to 'uncover insights'.
In this study, researchers will use the Geriatric (GERT) suit to simulate conditions such as temporary injury, pregnancy, sensory sensitivity, arthritis, and diabetes. The team dons suits and conducts experiments at an elementary school in north Texas designed by Kogan.
“Wearing the GERT suit allows non-disabled educators to better support their colleagues by providing feedback and identifying opportunities for targeted design interventions,” Kogan said. I did.
