Ty Kennon has joined North Oaks Health System as vice president of marketing and business development.
Kennon brings to North Oaks more than 20 years of leadership experience in healthcare marketing, communications and brand development at prominent health systems across the country, according to a news release.
In her new role, Kennon will lead North Oaks' team responsible for developing and implementing strategy and key community partnerships related to marketing, communications, public relations, business development, patient advocacy and experience.

Mr. Kennon comes to North Oaks from Phoenix Children's Health System in Arizona, where he championed the system's rebranding efforts and a series of multichannel legacy and digital media advertising campaigns during a period of rapid expansion.
Previously, he served as Vice President of Systems Marketing for MedStar Health, Vice President of Marketing Planning and Service Line Strategy for Mercy Health, and Vice President of Marketing for Inova, a leading healthcare provider in Northern Virginia.
Kennon is a graduate of the Washington, D.C.-based Advisory Board Fellowship Program, also completed the Scripps Health Leadership Academy, and received a bachelor's degree from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro.
Kennon is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Healthcare Strategy and Market Development Association, and a past member of the American Marketing Association's Executive Leadership Summit and The Health Management Academy.
