Katie Price – History of Pet Potted Plants
Nameless Horse (2017)
One of Katie's horses was tragically killed in November 2017 when it was hit by a car after escaping from a horse farm on the A24.
He posted a photo of a car with a broken windshield on his Instagram account, writing: “Last night, a friend's horses, including ours, escaped from a field and ran onto the road. We are devastated.''
“We are very upset to learn that one of our horses was killed last night after being hit by a car…
“Thank God the driver of this car was very lucky to escape. I wish him all the best. The police and locals have been great too. Thank you to them all!”
“Thank God our other four horses are friends, a few of them are injured, but they are still receiving veterinary treatment so they are okay!”
Dobby and Hagrid (2017)
Katie had two Sphynx cats named Dobby and Hagrid, after characters from Harry Potter.
However, in December 2017 she said her dogs were unfriendly and she would sell them for £1,300 each.
However, it is unclear whether she sold the cat or not, as she continued to post pictures of the cat on Instagram until 2021.
Queenie (2018)
Katie was left “devastated” after her German shepherd Queenie was killed in a hit-and-run accident.
The dog was a gift from her current husband, Kieran Hayler, for her 36th birthday.
In a since-deleted Instagram post, Katie said Queenie was beaten by a “heartless” delivery driver who left the dog to die.
“I am completely devastated by the lives of loyal and loving family dogs. Queenie ran into our dog when she saw her struggling and ran off without saying a word, leaving her alone. Her life was short-lived as she was killed by a heartless delivery driver who left her dead.”
“It's really unfortunate that humans can be so heartless!” I reported it to the police because it was caught on a security camera! “Devastating” is an understatement.
Marvin (2018)
Katie had a variety of animals, including a chameleon named Marvin.
However, Marvin died in November 2018, with Katie allegedly claiming the lizard died of a “broken heart” after her son Junior moved in with his father Peter Andre.
A source close to the star told The Sun newspaper: “Marvin didn't go with Junior when he moved in with his dad for the summer.” And now Katie thinks her reptile died of a broken heart. ”
However, the source added, “But because Katie is short on money, she is unable to heat the mansion and Chameleon needs to be kept warm at all times.''
They also revealed that she wanted to keep the children's pets in her home in hopes that the children would come visit her more.
They said: “Katie claims she never intended to adopt a pet when Junior and Princess moved in together and blames Peter for Marvin's death.”
“But Katie didn't want him to take her because she thought the children would come to see her more if she had a pet with her.”
“The whole family is devastated by Marvin's death, especially Junior.”
Meanwhile, a source close to Peter said: “He was never asked to look after him.” It is outrageous for her to blame him. ”
Peggy (2019)
Katie sparked backlash from fans in February 2019 after giving her daughter Princess a pet hedgehog.
Fans slammed Katie for bringing a spiny mammal named Peggy into the house with her dog, saying Peggy would be “scared”.
In October of the same year, Katie made Peggy disappear for two weeks at the “McKee Mansion.''
On a YouTube home tour, she admitted that her hedgehog was missing somewhere in the house.
A source later revealed that they had found Peggy again, saying: “Peggy is back. Katie always knew she would find Peggy again.”
Bear (2019)
Katie bought another Alsatian named Bear, Sparkle's half-sister, for £1,000 in November 2018.
But after three near-death experiences within a few weeks, she gave up the dog just six months later in April 2019.
Both Bear and Sparkle continue to run away from her house, nearly running over each other several times.
In February 2019, Bear ran onto a busy motorcycle road, but luckily a passerby took him to a veterinarian and rescued him.
The following month he went on the run again and was rescued by a police officer passing by the A24.
Katie eventually relocated Bear in April, with a source telling The Sun: “Bear continued to be out on the highway, but Katie didn't want to risk him getting hurt or getting worse. '' he said.
“The breeder plans to have him neutered and find him a loving, permanent home, and Katie will have many pets to keep her company.”
Sparkle (2020)
Katie's third Alsatian, Sparkle, tragically passed away in a very similar manner to her late German Shepherd, Queenie.
The dog reportedly escaped from the star's home and was hit by a car on the A24 near her Mackie Mansion, the same road where the bear was almost run over.
Katy shared the news on Instagram, writing, “Hey guys, this morning has been a real mess. I just woke up and found my dog dead in the road.
“I checked with the neighbors and it looks like they were in the same situation when they left the dogs there. So I don't know how they got away, but yeah, one of my Alsatians got run over and died. It was.”
“Last night I was away with my PA so I left the neighbors to feed their dogs because that's what they do when I'm not there.”
She added: “Obviously something happened during the night.”
Lolo (2020)
Katie's dog Lolo died of suffocation after apparently being trapped in an electric armchair at home.
Despite CPR, the French bulldog given to Princess on her 13th birthday could not be saved.
Katie told her YouTube followers: “There was nothing they could have done but she said she didn't die in agony, it was too soon.”
The dog was with the family for only a few weeks before it died in a tragic death that sparked public outrage against Katie and the breeder who sold her the puppy.
The breeders defended themselves on Instagram, saying they “did everything possible” to ensure Lolo went to a good home, including background checks and home visits.
They wrote: “Lolo's death was a tragic accident and had nothing to do with his health or @jrcbullies.”
Katie commented on the post: “It's no one's fault and we're all devastated by what happened so tragically, so instead of pointing fingers, I want to express how we're all feeling. Please think and respect all of us.”
However, she later revealed that she was illegally encouraged to give Lolo cannabis oil. She was given a substance in a “puppy basket” by the dog's breeder.
Rollo fell asleep under the electric chair after ingesting a non-psychoactive cannabis derivative, and later “suffocated” after the family's nanny sat on the chair.
Katie told the Mirror that a veterinarian told her that giving the puppy CBD oil may have caused it to seek out a cozy place to sleep, such as a chair.
A spokeswoman for Katie said: “Katie has been advised that this oil is safe for dogs.” We also received approval from the breeder. Katie intends to work with Peta and other groups who need her voice. ”
A source close to her added: “As awful as it sounds, this will give Katie some comfort in understanding why Rollo crawled into her space.”
“She also feels let down by a system that allows the sale of CBD oil for pets, even though it is illegal.”Katie has faced backlash, hate mail, death threats and threats over Lolo's tragic death. They caused vandalism, etc. As a family, they continue to grieve.”
Precious (2021)
Katie gave away her family's French bulldog to a builder working on Channel 4's Mackie Mansion less than a year after she adopted it.
The dog was a gift from her on-and-off fiancé Carl Woods to celebrate their six-month wedding anniversary.
“She's a French bulldog named Precious. [my daughter] “The princess came up with the name,” Katie told The Sun.
“This is a six-month anniversary present from Karl. We may not have a baby, but this is our new baby.”
Captain, Buddy, Colin, Batman (2022)
Katie currently has four Chihuahuas named Captain, Buddy, Colin, and Batman.
But in January 2022, fans became worried about Buddy after he stuffed it inside his jacket and took him horseback riding.
In the same year, she lost her captain while on holiday with Karl in Dorset, leaving her “devastated” and “in pieces”.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Katie was in a near-death condition.” She was staying on a friend's property, which was very safe, so the captain thought it would be okay to let her off leash, but he managed to escape. ”
They also told the magazine: “Katie was devastated, thinking she had lost him forever or he might be run over.”
After an eight-hour search, she received a call telling her the captain had been found after being taken to a local veterinarian and was identified using a microchip.
Sharon (2022)
In November 2022, Katie's dog Sharon ran away onto the road and was hit by a car and killed.
The Pomeranian was picked up by a motorist off the A24 and taken to Arun Veterinary Clinic in Pulborough, West Sussex, where he was pronounced dead.
A source close to Katy told The Sun newspaper that the tragic incident was “unfortunate” and claimed the singer was “devastated”.
Blade (2023)
In June last year, Katie confirmed that her rescue dog Blade had died after being hit by a car near her home in West Sussex.
I'll upload it to Instagram. she wrote: “Words cannot express the loss of my best friend, my protector, and everything to me who sadly passed away today. I have no words to describe how I feel right now, but with numbness and shock I shake the blade. I’ll tear it up.”
She said the RSPCA visited her home after Mr Blade's death, but later claimed someone had deliberately killed him.
Katie said: “Update – the RSPCA came to my house and have no concerns about my animals and never have.”
“We are trying to piece together how Blade was killed and his final steps, as this is an intentional target to kill him.”
Tank (2024)
Katie bought Tank, a German shepherd, in July last year, a month after Blade's death.
But in August, she was accused of punching a puppy that was sitting on her clothes on a TikTok live.
I heard her yelling, “Get off me!” You're sitting on my jumper, my favorite jumper. get off. Jesus…anyway, like I said…”
As the tank moves out of shot, Katie can be seen raising her hand to the animal, and the user claimed to have heard a “loud banging sound”.
And last month, she reportedly let go of the tank because it “no longer looked cute on Instagram.”
The Sun newspaper reported that the mother-of-five got rid of the dog after she “lost interest” in it because she needed to “train” it.
