A K9 named Visa is being hailed as a hero after helping police search for a missing 12-year-old child. The Auburn, Massachusetts Police Department shared the incident and a photo of the brave dog on Facebook.
“On Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at approximately 10:30 p.m., the Auburn Police Department learned that a 12-year-old child had left home at approximately 8:30 p.m. The child was last seen “He was killed in the Pacacchoagg Hills area of Auburn and is currently missing,” the department wrote.
“Due to the freezing temperatures and the nature of the incident, numerous Auburn police officers and officers from the Massachusetts State Police converged on the scene to help locate the child. Detectives from the Auburn Police Department and Detective Bureau also responded to assist. ” they added.

In the next few lines, the department says, “K9 Biza was able to smell and began tracking the scent. Police then located the child and reunited him with his family.
“We are proud of K9 Biza's hard work and are pleased to report the positive results,” the department wrote in concluding its post about the dog.
