Damond is a recognized leader on emerging technology issues and provides expertise on standards, best practices, law, regulation and public preparedness.

Daymond previously served as global chair of health policy at Edelman Global Advisory. In this position, he leveraged his career in government with a focus on healthcare, trade, and innovation to guide clients through the dynamic global healthcare industry.

Daymond served as Pfizer's vice president of international government relations, where he managed international trade and commercial issues, including leading industry efforts to strengthen market access and intellectual property provisions in the U.S.-Korea Free Trade Agreement. He served as vice president of international affairs at Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), where he held leadership positions. Asia and the Global Market Access Program and developed industry success strategies for market IP and the access provisions of the US-Australia Free Trade Agreement.
In addition to his extensive experience in the healthcare industry, Daymond spent more than 10 years in the Office of the United States Trade Representative, where he served as Assistant Secretary of the United States Trade Representative.
