5 things you need to know heading into Super Bowl weekend
1. It seems increasingly likely that there will be a new battle between Biden and Trump over the presidential election. With that in mind, a recent poll shows that 76% of those surveyed are concerned about the president's age and physical and mental health. By contrast, 61% of respondents were concerned about Trump's legal issues.
2. Hats off to the Wichita Police Department. There were tense moments yesterday in the parking lot of the Kwik Trip at Lincoln and Hydraulics when a man, clearly in some sort of mental health crisis, barricaded himself inside a car with a knife. WPD was able to successfully negotiate a peaceful outcome and take the man into custody in order to obtain the necessary assistance.
3. Happy New Year! Today marks the beginning of a new year according to the zodiac calendar. Today is the first day of the Year of the Dragon, one of the 12 zodiac signs. A year traditionally associated with baby booms, power, and prosperity.
4. Super Bowl 58 kickoff is just hours away, but there may be some bad news for you, Chiefs fans. A man who has bet on the past 16 Super Bowls has gotten every one of those picks wrong. He made a bet this year and picked the Chiefs to win it all.
5. And the man who was climbing the Las Vegas sphere was arrested and charged. Look, I think we can all agree that if this is the craziest thing that happens during Super Bowl week, then that's a win.Unfortunately I don't think that will happen
it's becoming a trend
