Jim Harbaugh is likely to take the NFL job, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. His departure is unknown, but he is likely to be selected by the Los Angeles Chargers.
At least, that seems to be the imminent outcome. Harbaugh is set to interview for the second time with LA and has already spoken to the Atlanta Falcons twice.
Needless to say, Michigan State is doing everything it can to keep him. Schefter reported that Harbaugh is likely to return to the pros at this time.
“I certainly think it's trending that way and I think it's trending that way,” Schefter said. pat mcafee show. “There seems to be a lot of interest from the Chargers as well as the Falcons, so I think there's a realistic chance he'll go to the NFL. I think that's what a lot of people believe. But now , he still has to take these interviews.
“He's scheduled to meet with the Chargers at some point this week. It's the second time he's met with them. Everyone seems to think it's a very meaningful game from both sides' perspectives, but… I think that’s right.”
But Schefter said Harbaugh isn't the be all and end all for the Chargers.
“And let's see if they can figure it out and bridge the difference,” Schefter said. “The Chargers have cast a wide net with a lot of people. And it's not surprising that they may have settled on Jim Harbaugh. But they've also talked to a lot of different people. Masu.”
After the University of Michigan won the national title, he sat down with ESPN's Rece Davis and was asked about his future and whether he would be interested in going to the NFL.
“The celebration last night felt really great, and I woke up this morning feeling really cool and it wasn't a dream,” Harbaugh said. “It was real and I felt almost as good as last night. I'm looking forward to a fun flight back to Ann Arbor, Michigan.”
“Everybody wants a parade. So damn, let's let them have a parade. I'm looking forward to that too. So let's see what happens. No one knows the future. It's No one can predict it. It's biblical and I feel great right now.”
Ravens coach John Harbaugh, Jim's younger brother, recently spoke highly of his brother.
“He might be the best team builder in football right now.” told Mr. Schefter.. “No one can build a better team than anyone. He knows how to put it together from top to bottom. He knows how to involve people. He knows how to make them a part of it. He knows how to empower people.”
