This edition of “Pet of the Week” features adoptable pets from the Arkona Humane Society. AHS is home to both dogs and cats looking for forever homes.
The first pet we will introduce is Jams. Jamz is his 8 year old pit mix with a heart of gold. He loves having as many pets as possible, but also enjoys cuddles, car rides, playtime, and walks. He's the ultimate best friend, ready to do anything from watching squirrels climb trees to binge-watching your favorite TV shows. Jamz is the total package with up-to-date information on distemper vaccines and deworming, and is neutered. Unfortunately, Jamz doesn't get along well with other animals, so he has to go to a home where he can be the only pet. But Jamz is going to give you all the love.
Next, five barn cats broke the all-time record for the most animals featured on Pet of the Week. These cats come in pairs and are perfect for reducing the number of mice around your home. All cats are fixed, up to date on deworming, and negative for feline leukemia. The group notes that although they are barn cats, they require care like any other pet, including shelter, food and water.
