(WHNT) — This week's Adoptable Pet of the Week features three.
Meet Timon and Pumba from Decatur Animal Services and Zara from the Humane Society of Greater Huntsville.
Timon and Pumba are two-month-old healer mixes. She weighs about 7 pounds and has a very sweet personality.
Decatur Animal Services currently has over 20 puppies at its shelter and is asking people to adopt them. If you are interested in adopting Timon, Pumba, or any of our other puppies, please contact Decatur Animal Services at (256) 341-4790 or stop by his location at 300 A Beltline Road in Decatur.
Zara is a young and energetic girl who gives a lot of love. GHHS is currently working with her on leash skills, manners, and basic commands, but she is potty trained, microchipped, and up to date with vaccinations and flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. We also incorporate the latest information.
The shelter says she would be best suited for a home with a large yard or somewhere where she can be off-leash and let off some energy. An active family that can give her time to do her exercises and continue training would be great.
At this time, it is unknown how she will behave around other dogs and cats, GHHS said.
Until she is spayed, only people living in Madison County can adopt Zara.
If you are interested in hiring Zara, please visit the GHHS website here or call (256) 881-8081.
