Pets become homeless for a variety of reasons and need a new home and a second chance. If you're looking for a new furry best friend, check out the shelter's many residents. They all make great pets and great companions.
Currently, adoptions are by appointment only, and this is working very well. Donors also provided supplies and funds for homeless animals at the shelter.

olivia
Olivia is a smart and fun-loving girl who needs a strong leader. She came to the shelter as a stray. She is a lab/terrier mix and is probably about 1 year old. Olivia knows that she will sit up, shake, and sometimes fall down. She is an active, playful and sometimes stubborn girl. Although she is therapeutic and wants to please, she can be stubborn at times. She loves going to the playground and running. Olivia jumps when excited, so she needs someone to work with on this and learn other manners. For this reason, age restrictions may apply to children in the household. Please discuss this with shelter staff. It may be best for Olivia to be the only pet in the house, as Olivia is a fierce chaser and she doesn't seem interested in being with other dogs. A fenced yard is highly recommended for Olivia. Is there a better place for this cute girl?

Denim Jacket was a little shy when he first came to the shelter, but he has since become a very laid-back guy. He is a 1 year old black and white boy who came as a stray. We found out that he loves playing with the domestic rats at the shelter. Do you need a denim jacket in your life?
