CVAS encourages anyone looking to bring a four-legged friend into their home to check out the wonderful animals available for adoption at shelters.
Pets become homeless for a variety of reasons and need a new home and a second chance. If you're looking for a new furry best friend, check out the shelter's many residents. They all make great pets and great companions.
Currently, adoptions are by appointment only, and this is working very well. Donors also provided supplies and funds for homeless animals at the shelter.

Luke
Luke is 9 years old and weighs 9 pounds when he was surrendered to the shelter. He is a Pomeranian and can be a bit moody, so he would be best suited to someone with experience with small dogs and in an adults-only home.
Luke's previous owner said he had occasional seizures but had never seen a veterinarian. We have not observed any seizure activity here at the shelter, but it is something to keep in mind for potential adopters. CVAS, 5051 Letterkenny Road West, Chambersburg, PA 17201, Kennel License # 2090
waldorf
Waldorf is a 2-year-old black and white boy who is very playful and loves attention. He is sometimes seen sleeping on his back! This guy would make someone a great companion. Could it be you?
