The award-winning campaign video, created by Optimum Productions, features the story of Greg, a U.S. Navy veteran and avid fisherman from northern Wisconsin who lives with Parkinson's disease. Through the ingenuity and support of Greg's caregivers at City of Madison Interim Healthcare, Greg had the opportunity to spend another day on the boat with his family, fishing rod in hand. This tour is made possible thanks to a partnership with Sheep Dog Impact Assistance, a nonprofit organization that provides charitable services to benefit veterans through outdoor adventure. This meaningful occasion provided Greg and his family with moments and memories to cherish for years to come.
This video campaign is now available as a marketing asset at all Interim HealthCare franchise locations throughout November 2023 in honor of Veterans Day. The package included first-person interviews, fishing trip visual content, and long- and short-form storytelling suitable for electronic distribution and social media promotion. In addition to telling a moving story about one person's experience, this video was also effective in dispelling misconceptions about hospice and highlighted the importance of volunteering in conjunction with hospice care.
