“#Trump is not well.”
That's probably what Democrats have been saying for a while. But MAGA Republicans probably don't appreciate that idea as much.
But why was this hashtag trending on Friday?
Well, look… there's no doubt that President Joe Biden has made some gaffes and gaffes in front of the microphone, but President Trump on Friday made a few head-scratching comments of his own during a campaign rally in New Hampshire. I made a gaffe.
In discussing the events of January 6, he repeatedly mentioned that his Republican rival, Nikki Haley, was involved in public security that day.
“Nikki Haley, you know them, you know they destroyed all the information, all the evidence, everything, deleted everything, destroyed it?” President Trump told the crowd:. “It's all because of a variety of things, including Nikki Haley being in charge of security. We gave her 10,000 people, soldiers, National Guard, whatever they wanted. They. turned it down. They don't want to talk about it. They're very dishonest people.”
President Trump has repeatedly made similar accusations against Nancy Pelosi. It is an accusation that has been debunked. There should have been no reason for Nikki Haley to be offered 10,000 National Guard troops on January 6th. She was not involved in security at the Capitol. However, he repeatedly spoke out against Hailey, causing a social media frenzy.
Republicans object to Trump's account on XPreviously, on Twitter, she accused him of having dementia.
“There's nothing to see here, just Trump criticizing Nikki Haley, the head of J6, in charge of security at the Capitol.” Luis Moreno wrote. “He didn't just slip up once, he kept rolling with it. If it were Biden, that would be the main story in the media. Why do we keep normalizing him?”
And clearly, as the hashtag indicates, there were many who accused Trump of confusing Ms. Haley with Ms. Pelosi.
