An Australian woman shares her amazing weight loss transformation that helped her lose 53 pounds and get her life back.
Back in July 2023, Dils Lee felt like she hit rock bottom after reaching her highest weight of 192 pounds and wearing size 16 clothes at the same time.
The 28-year-old says there's nothing wrong with being that size, but it has had a dramatic impact on how she feels physically and mentally.
But now, less than a year later, the woman from Australia's Central Coast has lost an astonishing 53 pounds, dropped three dress sizes and turned her life around by making simple changes.
“I got to the point where I was tired of waking up in the morning with severe pain and discomfort in my body,” Lee told news.com.au.
“I saw an Instagram post that said if you're not an active person but you were with an active partner, the inactive partner is more likely to die 7 years earlier than the active partner. there is.
“This really scared me because my husband is a very healthy and active person and he hated the thought of me not being there because I didn't take care of myself and my body. .
“I truly feel that this has completely changed the way I think and approach weight loss. It's not just about looking good, it's about being healthy and living as long as possible with my husband.”
Lee said that when she was at her heaviest, she felt depressed, weak and weak, and was in constant pain.
She had gained weight during the pandemic and was desperate to get back to her normal life, but didn't know where to start.
However, she noticed a big change when she started walking with friends during coffee breaks instead of sitting in cafes.
She started losing weight and eventually fell in love with physical activity, going to fitness HIIT classes five times a week.
Lee lost 37 pounds in six months, but felt like she was stuck in a plateau and couldn't lose any more weight.
So she decided to consult nutritionist Lily Cook. Lily Cook helped her prioritize her nutritional goals and started a low-carb, high-protein diet.
With this change, she was able to lose an additional 15 pounds and get the toned physique of her dreams.
“I started taking walks with friends for coffee almost every morning,” she said.
“I absolutely loved it. One day, while I was out walking and drinking coffee, I met some people next to me who had just finished a HIIT gym class, and they asked me to come along.
“We accepted their offer. After the free trial, we signed up and went several times a week. We absolutely loved it.
“Shauna, the trainer there, made it feel like a community. It was fun.
“I also stuck to a calorie deficit and then consulted a nutritionist for help with this.
