Gulfport, Mississippi – March 18, 2024 – Southern Mississippi Humane Society received a $25,000 grant from PetSmart Charities® Helping make more pets available for adoption in Harrison County.
Approximately 4 million pets are admitted to U.S. shelters each year. In partnership with PetSmart Charities, the Humane Society of Southern Mississippi will bring adoptable pets to two of his PetSmart locations in support of National Adoption Week. From March 18th to 24th, 2024.
This grant will cover the care needed to adopt 400 dogs and cats at PetSmart stores, including the cost of spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and supplies for a successful adoption event. provide funding.
