Fresh off its successful run in 2023, Havas continues to grow through an acquisition strategy.
Global Advertising Group announced the acquisition of Wilderness, bringing social marketing expertise to Havas around the world and enhancing its existing social media offerings.
Wilderness joins Havas Play, gaining access to the network's global reach and customer base and contributing to its growth story.
Havas reported organic growth of 4.4% in the year to December, with net revenue of 2.695 billion euros.
Arnaud de Puyfontaine, chairman of Havas' parent company Vivendi, said the company has pursued a targeted acquisition strategy and forged important alliances in technology, including artificial intelligence.

Recently acquired Wilderness was founded in 2015 by Tom Jarvis and has grown as an in-house partner to major entertainment brands including Sony Pictures, 20th Century and Universal Pictures.
Havas said Wilderness quickly expanded this entertainment-driven social approach into new areas such as food and beverage, FMCG, travel, fashion and technology.
London-based Wilderness staff will relocate to Havasu Village London. Nick Wright, Chief Growth Officer at Havas Media Network UK, will be responsible for the strategic integration of Wilderness.
