Harris County Pets will be holding five low-cost spay/neuter events during February in honor of Spay/Neuter Awareness Month and Responsible Pet Ownership Month.
What you need to know
A total of 35 pets will be spayed or neutered at each of the five events, according to a Feb. 1 news release. The surgery is performed by a licensed veterinarian and costs $25 per pet.
Low-cost spay/neuter events will be held at the Harris County Pet Resource Center, 612 Canino Road, Houston, on the following dates:
- Tuesday, February 6th
- Saturday, February 10th
- Saturday, February 17th
- Tuesday, February 20th
- Saturday, February 24th
To receive low-cost spay/neuter services, pet owners must:
- Call 281-999-3191 to schedule an appointment.Walk-ins are not accepted
- Please provide proof of residence in unincorporated Harris County, such as a driver's license or other valid identification showing a current address.
