SANTA CRUZ, Calif. — Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter is hosting a “Somebody to Love” adoption special event during the month of February, offering 50% off adoption fees.
The shelter, located at 1001 Rodriguez Street, is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. To adopt, potential adopters must be at least 21 years old, have photo identification, and be thoughtful about the pet that is right for them. lifestyle and living environment.
The adoption fee for puppies under 6 months of age is $105, while the adoption fee for adult dogs is $75. The adoption fee for kittens under 6 months of age is $60 and the adoption fee for adult cats is $55. Rabbits can be adopted for a $35 fee.

The reduced adoption fee also includes vaccinations, microchip, and spay/neuter.
