Derbster Rescue celebrated an early Parentine Day with some cheer at the 5th Annual Fur Ball held at Club Colette on February 4th.

Proceeds from the evening — a record $600,000 — will support Darbstar Rescue, which is on a mission to reduce the number of animals euthanized in overcrowded shelters in Florida and other southern states. and transported to adoption facilities and no-kill shelters in New England. Adoptable pets are in high demand.
In 2023, Derbster Rescue transported 3,587 dogs and cats to forever homes in New England, bringing the total number of rescues since its founding to more than 18,700.
