When contacted by MARKETING-INTERATIVE, Domlija said that former Wavemaker president Gordan Domlija has started a new agency in Singapore called Re:Motive Media.

“We call ourselves a post-digital agency because we are designed to:
Go beyond the hype and false prophecies of the latest shiny thing.we
We have the knowledge and experience to combine advanced data analysis.
We provide real human insights and transform our clients’ businesses,” Domriya said in a conversation with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE.

An agency that does things a little differently. Or, as we like to say, an agency that ‘makes different happen’,” he added.

Motivation is a pioneering strategic media agency that grew out of BBH, founded by Sir John Hegarty, Domriya explained. “They are now a brand lost to acquisitions and consolidation, but those who worked with them know the value that a media agency built on strong strategic principles can bring.”
Its principles are timeless: building effective communications and channel plans that are fully aligned with brand and business goals, and working seamlessly with creative agencies and marketing teams to produce superior strategy and marketing.
Execution, he added.

“Personally, when considering starting a new agency, the most important factors for me are always values and culture. I was able to work.
Encourage people to innovate, succeed, and importantly,
fun. I have also worked in stifling cultures where people are afraid to express their opinions and conformity suffocates ideas,” Domlya said.
Prior to starting Re:Motive, Domlija served as President of Wavemaker for over five years and CEO of MEC in China. From January 2014 to October 2015, he also served as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of MediaCom Shanghai. As CSO, he was responsible for strategic services, agency functions, talent management and business performance in China.
“We are just a small startup in a multi-trillion dollar industry dominated by multi-billion dollar companies,” Domlya said.
“However, as an owner-managed business, we are completely independent from the investors, shareholders and customers who not only maintain our group and platform, but also determine our policies and decisions. We can clearly differentiate ourselves. We specialize in what we do: effective strategy and decision making. We plan and we collaborate brilliantly with others. ” he added.
