Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth may not be available until February 29th, but fans are already obsessed with Tifa's appearance in the game.
A clip of the Costa del Sol section of the remade Final Fantasy 7 has gone viral online, with Tifa trending alongside Aerith. The clip shows a party on the beach, and Cloud seems surprised to see Tifa and Aerith in swimsuits.
The internet is already obsessed with the topic, with X/Twitter user @Genki_JPN's post racking up 1.6 million views alone.

Of course, Tifa's popularity is nothing new, but the fact that she is trending more than Aerith at the time of the game's release, where Aerith's fate is already hotly debated among fans, is telling. Tifa was trending in January as well, and there were so many requests from her fans to include her in Tekken 8 that Tekken boss Katsuhiro Harada spoke out about the matter. Had to mention it.
“We all know she's attractive and I get it too,” Harada said in a post on X/Twitter. However, no guest characters have been decided yet.
The Costa del Sol section of Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth is just one of several cities players can explore. Unlike the first game, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, the sequel takes place in a large portion of the world, including the Gold Saucer, Junon, and more. The latter can also be explored in the recently updated demo.
