After a five-year break, Lizzie Farrell has returned to the University of Minnesota Duluth Athletic Department as Director of Marketing and Events.
Farrell comes to the Bulldogs after serving as assistant director of marketing and fan experience for two years at Penn State. At PSU. Farrell created and executed her full promotional schedule for six different sports, including a nationally ranked women's soccer team, women's hockey, men's golf, women's golf, men's lacrosse, and women's lacrosse. . Farrell also managed her items on the marketing field for PSU football, and as part of her duties she supervised 30 interns.
Prior to his time with the Nittany Lions, Farrell served as the gameday presentation coordinator for the University of North Dakota at Ralph Engelstad Arena from 2019 to 2022. While in Grand Forks, Farrell helped create his full promotion schedule for four different sports, including his team's men's hockey, volleyball, and men's and women's basketball.
“I'm excited to return to Bulldog Country and give back to a department that has given me so much,” Farrell said of his return to Duluth.
Farrell returned to the Bulldogs and served as a UMD marketing assistant from 2017 to 2019, and before that as a marketing intern from 2014 to May 2017. She graduated from UMD with her BBA in Marketing in May 2017.
