When Stone took to the stage wearing a mint green Louis Vuitton peplum dress, she revealed to the audience that there was a flaw in her outfit.
“My dress broke. I think it happened during 'I'm Just Ken,'” Stone said, referring to Ryan Gosling's enthusiastic performance of the “Barbie” song at the beginning of the ceremony. he said. “I'm pretty sure.”
“This is really overwhelming,” Stone continued, noting that the nominees in this category include Annette Bening (“Nyad”), Lily Gladstone (“Killers of the Flower Moon”), and Sandra Hüller. (“Anatomy of a Fall”), and Carey Mulligan (“Maestro”).

“I'm so honored,” Stone continued, thanking her parents, brother, husband Dave McCurry, and her almost 3-year-old daughter, who she said “changed our lives into Technicolor.”
“I love you bigger than the whole sky, my girl,” Stone said. Perhaps he was referencing his friend Taylor Swift's song “Bigger Than the Whole Sky” from her album Midnight.
