A video of a rampaging elephant during the closing ceremony of the Tarakkal temple festival in Thrissur, Kerala, was released on social media on Friday night.
According to Mathrubhumi, the incident occurred around 10:30 pm when the elephant Guruvayur Ravikrishnan, who was parading for 'Ammatirvadi', lost control and caused panic among the people participating in the festival. . The video also shows the elephant charging towards another elephant, Puthupally Arjunan. Those carried by the elephant were also injured, and several others who tried to escape the attack were also injured when they fell.
