HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) – Dog and cat owners headed to a clinic held by the Henrico County Sheriff's Office Saturday to get their pets vaccinated against rabies.
Saturday, February 10th, Henrico County Police Department Rabies vaccination clinic held Dogs and cats will be accepted from 9 a.m. to noon at the Henrico County Western Government Complex, 4301 E. Parham Road.
Pet owners register and pay at the cash register in the administration building before visiting the veterinarian. Each vaccine costs $15 cash and includes a rabies tag and proof of vaccination. Pets from all areas welcomed.
Dennis Hawk of Goochland County said, Smokey Hollow Labrador The clinic is one of the few places where dogs can be vaccinated against rabies.
“We’ve been here many times,” Hawk said. “Just to look for health reasons and make sure there are no rabies issues. We want to keep them up to date.”
Hawk, who has run Smokey Hollow Labradors for about 35 years, said she plans to find a clinic that can renew vaccines for four or five dogs at a time because it is important to protect the community from rabies. Ta.
