HOUSTON (KIAH) – Houston Petset is a local nonprofit organization working to end the homeless animal crisis in Houston. That's why tomorrow, February 3, 2024, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., we will be offering a free service to our community for pet owners looking to microchip and vaccinate their dogs and cats. It's a schedule.
This event will be held at the Sunnyside Multi-Service Center located at 4410 Reed Road. The staff at Houston Petset offers Petco Love microchip, rabies, and other vaccines. A pet owner can bring her up to five animals, which can be safely controlled around other animals on a leash or in a carrier.
Houston city ordinance requires anyone who owns or owns a dog or cat over the age of 4 months to register, vaccinate against rabies, and microchip their pet annually. It is being Learn more about the code here.
