diablo 4 Season 3 brings a lot of changes, including long-awaited changes like leaderboards and additional hidden spaces. One of the most exciting additions is the steampunk-inspired Seneschal companion, which is as cute as it is useful. If you've been waiting for Blizzard to add pets to Diablo 4, you'll be excited to hear that these clunky little guys are just that.
The new Diablo 4 pets are reminiscent of The Elder Scrolls' own Dwemer structure. More specifically, this RPG's upcoming companion is like a friendlier, smaller version of the dwarf's spider. They also take part in battles and work with their own builds to support you in the Vault, a dungeon in Diablo 4 Season 3. This clockwork pet is not only beautiful to look at, but also incredibly customizable and useful to have.
You can enhance your Diablo 4 pet to best suit your playstyle using new Sovereign and Attunement Stones earned from the Vault. The Sovereign Stone allows you to determine how your seneschal will perform in battle and choose your attacks. You can then use Tuning Stones to further tune the selected skill to your liking. For every two of his Sovereign Stones that can be equipped to a companion, three Adjustment Stones can be applied to enhance their abilities.
That's not the only possibility. Stones must be leveled up, and duplicates can be fused to increase the XP gained to increase the potency of stones used by companions. In total, Season of the Construct has his 12 Reign Stones and 27 Adjustment Stones of “various rarities” that apply to new Diablo 4 pets. These range from stones that allow dragon-like firepower to more supportive conditioning stones that increase attack speed.
But more important than how competent a seneschal companion seems is the fact that it really is a pet. Blizzard reveals in its latest update that you can “pet your own constructs” in his stream, proving that companions are truly Season 3's biggest addition. I always knew pets would appear in RPGs at some point, and I'm so glad to see them join other core features as valuable robotic arachnids with massive construction support potential. I am thinking.
