Nexstar hires Head of Platform Marketing & Intelligence

In the US, broadcast and publishing network Nexstar Media Group has appointed Stacey Lynn Schulman as its first vice president of platform marketing and intelligence.
Headquartered in Irving, Texas, the Group produces and distributes local and national news, sports and entertainment content on television and digital platforms, including more than 300,000 hours of programming annually. Its network consists of 200 owned or partner stations in 116 U.S. markets, reaching 212 million people.
Schulman has more than 25 years of experience in the print, radio, cable, digital and broadcast media industries. She worked as Chief Marketing Officer at her Katz Media Group, where Katz oversaw her team in marketing and research across radio and television. She also worked as a senior executive at Turner Broadcasting, Interpublic Group, and Television Advertising Bureau. She started her television career on CBS.
In his new role, Mr. Schulman will be responsible for driving demand, leading the marketing efforts of the group's advertising division and overseeing the sales intelligence business unit. She reports to her vice president and chief revenue officer, Michael Strober, and is based in New York City.
