CVAS encourages anyone looking to bring a four-legged friend into their home to check out the wonderful animals available for adoption at shelters.
Pets become homeless for a variety of reasons and need a new home and a second chance. If you're looking for a new furry best friend, check out the shelter's many residents. They all make great pets and great companions.
Currently, adoptions are by appointment only, and this is working very well. Donors also provided supplies and funds for homeless animals at the shelter.

Saucy
After being at home for a few years, Sassy came back to the shelter because she didn't get along with the family dog. Sassy is a 9-year-old tabby dog who had his front claws removed. She can be a girl with her own opinions, preferring to draw attention to her own opinions. A home without dogs is probably best for Sassy. Could she please give her another chance?
