Are you an active senior who enjoys fun activities and is looking for resources and information to improve your lifestyle? Salisbury Thrive – Senior Life 55 Throws Opens the Door to Spring Friday, March 8, at am. 10am to 3pm
The event, which is free and open to the public, not only allows seniors to try a variety of activities, but also offers personalized services, resources, and demonstrations. The Thrive Open House includes vendors, exhibitors, food, entertainment and giveaways and is presented by Salisbury Independent/BayToBayNews.com in partnership with Lakeside at Mallard Landing.
“We are so excited to be returning to Lakeside at Mallard Landing for our Thrive event this spring. The setting and venue are truly beautiful,” said Heather, Director of Marketing and Promotions at Salisbury Independent.・Mr. Creger said.
“Additionally, there are lots of fun and interesting activities going on, as well as an extensive list of visiting vendors and exhibitors. Our guests know that this event will help them achieve their goals of staying active.” I'm confident.”
Vendors and exhibits range from home services and health care to local professionals and nonprofit organizations supporting the community. It can also be a great volunteering project for seniors taking on a new project.
Ask questions and learn more about businesses and community organizations in a relaxed atmosphere.
Local organizations will give practical demonstrations to make your life easier. Throughout the day there will be computer demonstrations by the Wicomico Public Library and “Get Hip Don't Slip” by PowerBack Rehabilitation to You. Amanda Fuchs will demonstrate chair stretches at 10 a.m., while Lakeside at Mallard Landing will host neighborhood tours throughout the day.
Entertainment includes morning harp music by Carla Russell, afternoon music by DJ Chucky, and crowd-pleasing bingo with prizes at 2 p.m.
