Jude: Everyone smiles and wiggles.
Jude always knows he can make a sad song better. That's exactly what the Arizona Humane Society aims to do to help find him a loving forever home. This adorable brindle puppy is a 1-year-old mastiff mix that was rescued as an injured stray in January of this year.
Jude was taken to the AHS trauma hospital and treated for minor injuries, but it was also discovered that he had allergies. The condition of his skin and fur has improved dramatically with treatment and he is no longer on allergy medication, but I will keep this in mind with my future veterinarian in case a treatment plan is needed in the future. is needed.
Jude was adopted as soon as he felt better, but unfortunately his family was evicted from their home, so he recently returned. With nowhere else to go, the smiling boy is now back at the shelter, hoping for his second chance. Jude is full of energy so he plays a lot, walks, learns new tricks and loves his family who help him with his wiggles.
Recruitment method: Interested adopters can meet the overjoyed Jude at AHS's PetSmart Scottsdale store. His adoption fee includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and follow-up health exam at VCA Veterinary Hospital. For more information, visit azhumane.org/adopt. Additionally, all dogs (including puppies) at AHS's PetSmart Scottsdale location will have his $0 adoption fee through Sunday, March 24th in honor of PetSmart National Adoption Week.

Franks & Beans: Double the cuteness
There's nothing better than food that goes well together. But one thing that is always guaranteed to be great are pets named after food. If you're into the cowboy diet, Franks and Beans is probably the best (and cutest) cowpoke you've ever eaten.
The 5-year-old siblings were littermates and were surrendered to the Arizona Humane Society in October 2020 after their family could no longer care for them. Overall healthy but in need of neutering, the shelter's behavior team quickly decides it's best to work together as they rely on each other for comfort and support. did.
Now, four years later, through no fault of their own, they are once again in AHS care. Frank and Beans love to do everything together, whether it's going for a walk or taking a much-needed nap (which is hard when they're this cute), and they don't just share her one bundle of charms with his two. Looking for a family who is also looking for a bunch.
Recruitment method: Interested owners can meet the fun Frank and his beloved Beans at AHS's PetSmart Scottsdale store. The 2-for-1 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and follow-up health exam at VCA Veterinary Hospital. For more information, visit azhumane.org/adopt. Additionally, all dogs (including puppies) at AHS's PetSmart Scottsdale location will receive $0 adoption fees through Sunday, March 24th in honor of PetSmart National Adoption Week.

Cookie Butter: A shy girl looking for a quiet home
Cookie Butter is a spayed, medium-haired female calico cat who is approximately 7 years old. It's not her fault that she ended up at Friends for Life Animal Rescue. She was brought in with another cat and she was very shy. She is a kind girl who wants a soft landing spot. Volunteers at the shelter are still learning about her. Since she came to Friends for Life, she seems to really enjoy picking up pets and having them brushed. She does best in a quiet home with a predictable routine.
Recruitment method: Her adoption fee is $125.00. Friends for Life Animal Rescue is located at 952 W. Melody Lane in Gilbert. For more information about Cookie Butter or other cats and dogs looking for homes, visit http://www.azfriends.org or call 480-497-8296.
