Police say thieves are targeting plumbing and electrical businesses on the north and west sides.

Last week, a business break-in in West Humboldt Park was caught on camera. Law enforcement officials are investigating at least 12 similar robberies in Chicago.
CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago police are investigating thieves who broke into plumbing and electrical businesses on the city's north and west sides.
Last week, a robbery at West Humboldt Park was caught on surveillance video. That business he suffered twice in two days.
Police have investigated more than a dozen similar crimes since mid-January. They occurred at the following times and places:
- January 18, 2024, 6 a.m., 4300 block of North Lincoln.
- 1100 block of West Webster from Jan. 18 to February. 13th, 2024 from 6pm to 12:55pm
- February 6, 2024, 12:30 p.m., 1100 block of West Webster.
- February 7, 2024, 2:02 a.m., 3900 block of North Central.
- February 7, 2024, 5 a.m., 4300 block of North Lincoln.
- February 12, 2024, 4:16 a.m., 4300 block of North Lincoln.
- February 14, 2024, 1:28 a.m., 4200 block of West Hirsch.
- February 14, 2024, 2:02 a.m., 1700 block of West Hirsch.
- February 14, 2024, 2:15 a.m., 3800 block of West Chicago.
- February 14, 2024, 2:30 a.m., 800 block of North Keystone.
- February 14, 2024, 3:14 a.m., 1100 block of West Webster.
- February 19, 2024, 4:22 a.m., 4300 block of West Chicago.
- February 21, 2024, 2:36 a.m., 4300 block of West Chicago.
Police are asking anyone who recognizes the person in the surveillance photo to call them.
