Blackpink's Lisa will make her acting debut and join the cast of Season 3 of “The White Lotus,” HBO announced Monday.
The Korean music idol's role has not been revealed, but she will be credited under her real name, Larisa Manobal, on the show.

The management company Manobar launched last week also confirmed the announcement in a Facebook post on Monday. Variety was the first to report this news.
The series will begin filming this month in Koh Samui, Phuket and Bangkok, Thailand. Manobar's casting was announced along with two other actors, Scott Glenn and Julian Kostoff.
Manobar, along with group member Jenny, will appear as one of the two Black Pink idols to appear on the HBO show. Jenny co-starred with Lily-Rose Depp in “The Idol,'' playing the role of backup dancer and singer Jenny Ruby Jane.
The show's casting process has already been in the news this year, both for its star-studded lineup and the controversy surrounding one of its hires.
Serbian actor Milos Byković was recently removed from the show after being accused by the Ukrainian government of supporting Russia's “genocide” during President Vladimir Putin's war in Ukraine.
