**Don't walk past me! Adoption fees have been reduced by 100%. When Carmen is in her BDAR, she tends to be timid and anxiously wait for her foster parent's return. She attaches quickly to humans and does wonderful things in her home. Carmen is an energetic 11-year-old! She loves kissing her face and rolling over to have her belly rubbed. She has a huge smile and an even bigger heart. Carmen is trained at her home. She is crate trained and she gets along well with other dogs. She always listens and she is very respectful. Carmen loves snacks and she has a huge appetite. Don't be fooled by her serious photos, Carmen is self-paced. She will definitely wiggle her cute ass in your heart. Carmen is a true ambassador of this breed and she is waiting to fill the empty space in your home. When I showed her the cat for the first time, she wanted to chase it. It's probably best to go to a home without kittens. Although she may not be able to jump fences due to her age, she did jump over fences when she was younger, so a 6 foot fence is recommended for her. Carmen is too enthusiastic about the ball and she can get a little too close to your hand while playing. Newt is a bit of a glutton. Newt was brought to us as a stray cat and is very sweet and gentle for a wandering cat. We were waiting to see if someone would come and nominate the cutest child, but unfortunately no one came. He is shy and he prefers to hide most of the day, but we have a sneaking suspicion that he will come out at night. As you know, Newt always manages to clean up his messy suite in the morning. At the end of the day, we make sure the scratching post, toys, and blankets are put away when we leave. It's been a big mess since morning! Blankets are crumpled and toys are scattered in every corner. One day, my scratching post tipped over! If you're also a night owl and love the midnight party life, come meet Newt. Cricket is a shy cat, just as a shy cat will refuse to look up at you to get a good photo. She spends her days relaxing in Kitty City. She likes being petted, but doesn't know much else. Cricket gets a little curious when you're cleaning the apartment, so once she starts getting used to you, she'll be more likely to go out and play. Jack doesn't really know how he got here. He last sailed the Caribbean as far back as he can remember, and now he's here in Wyoming, missing an eye. Being a landlocked country did not deter Jack at all. His missing eye is now fully healed. It has taken him a few days to warm up to him, but he is starting to become interested in seeing more of the world. He is still recovering from the shelling he received during his sailing days, so he tends to head for a safe hiding place when he hears loud noises. He would love to have you sit in his suite and tell you some stories from his privateer days. Jack is very friendly and he loves the opportunity to see the world outside the center. Although he gets along well with other cats, he prefers to live in a quieter environment and in a calm atmosphere. So much commotion and noise that he returns to his hiding place.
