The 11-year-old aspiring dancer from Queensland, Australia, suffers from a skin condition that makes her allergic to her own tears and sweat. Summer Williams' condition is so bad that she is currently undergoing experimental treatment.
According to news.com.au, when his mother Karin Jimny first noticed the boy's condition, her skin was dry to the point of cracking. In addition, she became red and inflamed under the shedding layer. Jimny initially mistook her allergy for sunburn. But she was shocked to see her daughter shivering in the heat and itching her skin all night.
“When we went to the hospital, she had a staph infection and when she was on antibiotics, her whole face and body was shedding like a snake from head to toe.” The bath will be full of skin,” Jimny, 47, told 7 News.com.
7 News.com further reported that Sumer was diagnosed with severe eczema as well as an allergy to tears and sweat. “(Suma) is allergic to her own tears, and when she cries, she gets a rash and gets what we call 'panda eyes.' She's also allergic to sweat, and she loves dancing, so it hurts a lot. '' Jimny further told 7 News.com.
The award-winning young dancer is currently undergoing a trial of a new injectable treatment, enduring the pain of facial redness.
