Ascentra Health has named Daniel Hallenbeck vice president of strategy and strategic partnerships.
Hallenbeck is a nationally recognized Medicaid enterprise systems expert and former New York State Medicaid Chief Technology Officer.
In his new role, he will serve as an integral member of Ascentra Health's leadership team, supporting the chief strategy officer in developing and executing the company's strategy, including value creation, digital health, and mergers and acquisitions, the company said.

Hallenbeck has 25 years of experience in a variety of business and government environments. Most recently, she served as CTO for the NYS Medicaid Program, managing systems, technology and data. During his tenure, Hallenbeck led the development of the program's strategic plan for digital transformation, coordinating contracts, funding and technology.
Previously, Hallenbeck oversaw enterprise architecture for NYS Medicaid's enterprise system and held the same position at Computer Sciences Corp. He has also held other roles in Enterprise His architecture at the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, the New York State Health Insurance Exchange, the New York State Health Insurance Exchange, and the New York State Government.
