“A day at the Kalappalam check post near the Tamil Nadu-Karnataka border in the Punjanur range of the BRT Tiger Reserve. A bus driver reassures passengers and bids farewell to the elephant he calls Anna (Big Brother). You can’t miss the ‘Mr. Cool’ hand,” the IAS officer wrote. She also added that the video was shot by an individual named PC Moorthy.

As the clip progresses, the gentle giant is seen walking towards the bus. The bus driver slowly backed away without making any noise and helped the elephant cross the road.
