NBC Sports Bay Area, NBC Sports California and NBC Bay Area (KNTV) today named Alexandria Leavenworth as senior director of creative and strategic marketing. She will lead an integrated media team responsible for strengthening her property's brand and expanding its influence throughout Northern California.
She will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing marketing strategies for NBC-owned stations and regional sports networks, working closely with KSTS (Telemundo). Additionally, Mr. Leavenworth will oversee the production of on-air promotions and graphics for newscasts, content integration, social media, pre- and post-game shows and live events. Ms. Leavenworth's first day in her new role is Feb. 5.

Mr. Leavenworth joins KNTV and NBC Sports Bay Area/California from KCRA-KQCA Sacramento, California. As Manager, he oversaw the execution of station promotions on-air, off-air and digital for KCRA and KQCA (Estrella). TV), MeTV Sacramento, H&I, and Hearst streaming platform Very Local.
Prior to becoming promotions manager, Leavenworth served as the station's assistant creative services director, where she was responsible for on-air, off-air, and digital promotions, including developing brand and marketing strategies for broadcast, multiple digital channels, websites, and mobile apps. A native of California's Central Coast, Mr. Leavenworth earned a bachelor's degree in communications and media production from California State University, East Bay. She earned a master's degree in journalism and mass communications with a concentration in integrated media communications from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
