A self-storage business and the property it is located on Aiken's South Side were sold late last year for $6.794 million.
SROA 2598 Whiskey SC LLC was the buyer and NSA Property Holdings LLC was the seller.
The business, formerly known as SecurCare Self Storage, is now called Storage Rentals of America.
The facility is located on approximately 4.6 acres at 2598 Whiskey Road.
SROA 2598 Whiskey SC is affiliated with SROA Capital of West Palm Beach, Florida.
According to SROA Capital's website, SROA Capital is a “vertically integrated private equity real estate and technology platform that provides partners with risk-adjusted We have an established track record of delivering benefits.”
SROA Capital “invested shares” [in]self-storage acquired, redeveloped and developed [businesses] “Under the Storage Rentals of America brand, we cover the entire risk spectrum in major and secondary markets throughout the United States,” the description reads.
In 2021, NSA Property Holdings acquired the Whiskey Road property, currently known as Storage Rentals of America, from Caldwell Generation Trust Trustee Todd William Gall for $8.47 million.
