When you come to choose your new pet, you will need to fill out a small application form. Once the paperwork is completed, an adoption fee will be charged.
The costs for adoption are as follows.
Dogs: $95, which includes spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, and microchip (heartworm test can be added for an additional $25). A prescription for 6 months of heartworm preventive medication must be filled by the public. Masu).
Cats: $65, which includes spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, and microchip.
As of March 10, Clayton County Animal Control is implementing social distancing measures. All visitors will be kept 6 feet apart. You must bring your personal protective equipment (PPE) and wear it when interacting with staff. Only one person will be allowed inside the facility at a time. Dogs are escorted through our side gate and directly into the kennel, which is equipped with a shoe washing station for hygiene purposes.
At this time, visitors are not allowed through the main entrance. Visitors are encouraged to know the name and intake of the animal they are interested in in advance.
