This week's featured pets are Mac and Toast from Eleventh Hour Rescue of Morris County.
Mac
Mac is an adorable 7-year-old brindle bulldog who was about to be euthanized at a high-kill shelter, but Eleventh Hour intervened and saved him. Unfortunately, this was about five years ago and Mack still hasn't found a home.
Mac is friendly, loves toys (especially tennis balls), and has a very funny personality.
Mac is housebroken, crate trained, and is very quiet when left alone. He is also very affectionate and loves being around people. He loves going out for long walks and playing fetch all day long, and is also great on a leash. Mac also loves riding in cars.
When Mac is excited, he can get a little overstimulated, so a home with a dog-savvy adult and older children is best for him. He does best as the only pet in the house, but is fine walking with dogs around the neighborhood or at the park.
If you're looking for a dog that not only runs and plays, but also cuddles and has a cute face like a sad/happy bulldog, Mac is the pup for you. He's such a fun guy that you won't regret choosing him!

toast
Toast is a charming and adorable 2 year old male cat with a heart of gold. From the moment they meet, you can see that Toast is her true lover, full of love and warmth. She may be a little timid at first, but will quickly melt into your arms and crave nothing more than her love and a scratch behind the ears.
One of Toast's most admirable qualities is his sweet nature and ability to get along well with other FeLV+ kittens. In fact, he not only tolerates them, he genuinely loves their companions and enjoys the company of his fellow feline friends.
He would be a wonderful addition to a household with other FeLV+ cats. It will definitely bring warmth and joy to the lucky forever family.
Toast has been with Eleventh Hour for over a year.

About the 11th hour rescue
Eleventh Hour Rescue is a fully registered 501C(3) non-profit, volunteer-based organization dedicated to saving the lives of innocent dogs and cats on death row. Many of the animals rescued through “Eleventh Hour'' are rescued at 11 o'clock after death, when they were scheduled to be euthanized because they could no longer be cared for at shelters.
Eleventh Hour provides rescuers with medical care, a place to live, and a second chance at life through a wide range of adoption services.
“The heartbreaking stories we have read and the number of people we cannot help are overwhelming,” the rescue group's website says. “Every day we are haunted by the faces of people we cannot save. We cannot stop. We will not stop until every cage is empty.”
You can find information about adoption, foster care, volunteering, and donations through the website ehrdogs.org.
