The doors of the minimalist space will officially open during Paris Fashion Week. The race is over—Cifonelli is also the official tailor of Le Mans for his third consecutive year.
Heritage Kimono House, the first retail store outside of Japan Yamato We have opened a pop-up in the Marais. The 100-year-old brand is now helmed by the founder's great-grandson, with two of his contemporary lines: menswear label Y. & Sons and womenswear label Kiyona by Nadeshiko. Located at 3 Rue Royale, Maxim's It has been restored to its Belle Époque glory and reopened, thanks to a feather-light renovation signed by Cordelia de Castellane, artistic advisor to the new operator, the Paris Society. The menu is full of ultra-traditional French cuisine, from soups named after royal mistresses and former presidents to frog legs, and the bar is open until the early hours with live music.
Hello is more than just a restaurant. His 18th-century townhouse with an Eiffel-era glass roof also houses a concept store with an emphasis on circularity and private tables. Here you'll find cuisine from rising star Victor Blanchet, with inspiration from the Basque Country to the Mediterranean coast.

Another Parisian icon that has been reborn is the Lido, which is now given its baptismal name lido 2 paris. Acquired by Accor Hospitality Group, the famous cabaret on the Champs-Élysées has been completely reimagined by French designer Alexis Mabille and architect Philippe Pumain. “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” is currently showing until April. — L.T.

Rami Mekdachi is a perfumer, film director, and world wanderer. laura james harper A label from a dozen years ago. Today, fragrances and candles with names like “Surf Shop of San Diego” and “Fun Fair of the Tuileries” aim to evoke memories of time and place, and have found a permanent home in Paris. For the opening, Mekdachi collaborated with K-pop star Joshua Hong to create a scent that recreates the Han River in Seoul. Next up is Smashing Pumpkins' Chicago studio. Prints from his and his daughter Lili Mekdachi's travel series cover the walls, as well as books chronicling retro-inspired road trips across America.

Paris is buzzing with new art exhibitions starting in conjunction with Paris Fashion Week. At Maison Europe de la Photographie, “Lisa Fonssagreaves Penn — Fashion Icon” The collection of models includes approximately 150 vintage fashion photographs taken between 1935 and 1955 by Irving Penn, Horst P. Horst, and others.
“Annie Leibovitz x IKEA” It's part of the home furnishings giant's IKEA+ project, inspired by research that found 48 per cent of people around the world don't feel their home life is represented in the media. His 28 images, the last of Leibovitz's collaboration with IKEA artist-in-residence, will be on display in the showroom at 28 Lappestrasse.
