From dogs that react to Harry Potter spells to cats that greet their owners every morning, we've got some fun pet stories this week. But alongside internet-famous pets, we enjoy seeing our readers' cats, dogs, and other pets submitted to our weekly “Pet of the Week.”

This week's Pet of the Week is a Labradoodle squirrel who loves to ambush his owners and canine companions.
The squirrel from Perth, Scotland, was so named because of its squirrel-like appearance when it was eight weeks old.
She is almost 5 years old, has a gentle personality, and loves to play.
”[She] They love to hide from us and jump out and surprise us,” said owner Arch Lamont. Newsweek. “We thought we were being targeted on the beach, but she was targeting other victims. Fortunately, they were very tolerant of her actions. .”
When she's not getting into mischief at the beach, she loves toys, especially the soothing teddy bear she's had since she was a puppy.
“Her best feature is her gentle personality, but the advantage is that she doesn't shed and her dog odor is kept to a minimum,” Lamont said.

This week's first finalist is Max, a rescue dog who comes from an abusive home with anxiety and PTSD.
She currently lives in Colorado with her owner, Michael Garcia, and is living her best life with an owner who truly understands her.
“I fell in love with him because I also have anxiety and PTSD. We hit it off right away and have been each other's comfort ever since,” he said. newsweek.
The name is also appropriate, as the owner explained. “He does everything to the fullest: licking, barking, jumping.”
He is almost 4 years old and has a special bond with his owner, and they are rarely separated.
Next up this week are rescue dogs London and Sunny, ages 4 and 3.
“These are the cutest babies ever,” said owner Misty Donaldson.
“I’ve been around a lot of dogs,” she said. “But I've never seen two dogs that have to interact constantly like these two.”
Although they are not blood brothers, Donaldson says their touching love for each other is a source of great joy.
Last but not least is Olly the cat. Just 18 months ago, Ollie and his friend showed up on Emily Robinson's porch in Michigan.
“His friend Billy wasn't very friendly, but Ollie was very clingy. He wanted lots of love. My husband and I were feeding both boys. '' Robinson said. newsweek. “We noticed that Ollie's eyes were very swollen and milky. We took him to the vet.”
Olly was diagnosed with glaucoma and a specialist veterinarian told him his eye would need to be removed.
“Unfortunately, we can’t afford it, so we’re putting in eye drops and trying our best to save money,” she said.
Since going to the vet, Ollie hasn't left their side and has been at home.
And Billy is always nearby, having his own insulated and heated house on his outside deck.
“They chose us and I couldn’t be happier,” said the loving owner.
