This week, we saw a cat placed under “house arrest” for aggressive behavior towards a groomer and for stealing the show at his owner's house party where another cat stole the show. We also continue to search for featured animals to feature in our weekly “Pet of the Week.”
Whether it's a well-behaved dachshund or a troublesome turtle, we want to add your pet to our lineup.

This week's winner is Monkey, an indoor cat who lives with his owners Miguel and Michelle Gilley.
“Monkeys are indoor cats,” Miguel said. newsweek. And as a result of his indoor lifestyle, he has developed habits that always bring a smile to his owner's face.
“Instead of bringing us gifts of rodents and birds, he decided to bring us random furniture,” Miguel said.
In a video shared with newsweekMonkey's skills are obvious. They wrap something around the furniture before eagerly dragging it back to its owner.
”[He is] He's such a character,” Miguel said. “We love him so much.”
finalist
This week's first finalist is Creed, a 3-year-old black and white French bulldog who loves snuggling and fetching.
Creed, who lives in upstate New York, will turn 4 on March 31st.
“He loves going for long walks in the park and playing with kids,” said owner Ciara Lynn Ramos. newsweek.
When it comes to food, Creed is very picky. “He hates carrots and peas, but he loves bananas and blueberries,” Ramos said.
This week's next finalist is the much-loved Dreylee, whose puppy Marilyn Wells purchased for her granddaughter. Also known as the Drei Drei or Pampered Princess Puppy.
“She believes every blanket in the house is hers,” Wells said. newsweek.
“No matter where in the house I'm wrapped up in a blanket watching a show or reading a book, she'll fly in and take root and struggle until some stupid human realizes it's hers,” Wells said.
It's clear that nine-year-old Dreylee is enjoying a pampered lifestyle. “She sees herself as a human princess, and she doesn't want people to think she's a dog,” Wells added.
Last but not least this week is Sidney, a mixed breed dog that his owner Lee Ryan Owens adopted from an animal shelter.
“We added Sydney to the pack after failing as a foster parent. We couldn't let her go,” Owens said. newsweek.
Currently, Sydney rules the roost with her four fur siblings. Alongside a photo of Sidney wearing a stylish sheriff's hat, his owner said he was the newest sheriff in town.
“We keep a close eye on it during the day to make sure no birds or squirrels come near it,” Owens said. “At night, she's a sentinel in her garden, watching for any sign of opossums or raccoons.”
