Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center is ranked #1 in New Jersey, in the top 5% nationally for both cardiology and heart care, and #3 in the state for respiratory care and gastrointestinal surgery. This is proof.”

From 2020 to 2022, if all hospitals as a group performed as well as America's 250 best hospitals, an average of 178,402 lives could have been saved*.
“Healthgrades applauds RWJBarnabas Health's leadership and continued commitment to quality care,” said Brad Bowman, MD, Chief Medical Officer and Head of Data Science at Healthgrades. “Ranked among the top five hospitals in the state, we consistently deliver excellent outcomes for patients in our region. Consumers know they have access to top-rated care at RWJBarnabas Health. You should be relieved to know this.”
