The Next Level Athlete Texas Top 100 Showcase was held last weekend at Richardson Berkner High School and featured Denton (Texas) Guyer athlete Zane, one of the top early 2027 athletes in the country. Several promising players, including Lowe, participated with the aim of competing.
The 6-foot-5, 225-pound Rowe could develop into a number of positions at the collegiate level, but for now he is mostly being scouted by Texas Tech to play tight end.
red raider sports attended the NLA Showcase and caught up with Lowe about the latest recruiting efforts.

… Rowe, a freshman, had 23 tackles, two tackles for loss and two sacks, according to his MaxPreps profile.
… For his efforts, Lowe was named to the 2023 MaxPreps Freshman All American Team
… Lowe also plays baseball and basketball for Denton Geyer.
NLA camp goals: “Just to show that I can play on both sides of the ball and really show the tight end side of the ball because sometimes that gets ignored.”
Visit to Texas Tech University: “It feels good to get an offer in camp and then come back because everyone still knows you.
I was at the Kansas State game. (The facility) will be great. My senior year in particular is going to be great, because they're making a lot of good stuff. The Red Raider environment was great and I love the energy. ”
Connection with TE coach Josh Cochran: “He's a great coach. He makes his players work hard and he really cares about them as people more than as players. We communicate at least once a week.”
Thoughts on the work Joey McGuire does at tech companies: “It feels great and it’s definitely going to be some big show in the future.”
Other schools recruiting him heavily: “Obviously, I'm early in the process, so I have a lot of schools in mind.”
Upcoming visits: “I'm going to Texas on the 20th and Baylor on the 27th. I'm definitely going to visit (Texas Tech) at least twice in the summer and once in the spring.”
